Pokémon GO Fest is an annual event made to celebrate the anniversaries of the launch of Pokémon GO. While the first one was a bit rough, to put it nicely, Niantic made a vast improvement for last year’s event, and now they’ve just announced some of their plans for this year’s event.

It was recently announced that Pokémon GO Fest 2019 will take place in three different cities around the world. From June 13 to June 16, an event will be held in Chicago, Illinois in the United States, while a second event is planned for July 4 to July 7 in Dortmund, Germany. There will also be a third event somewhere in Asia this summer, but the specifics of that one haven’t been determined yet. Further details about what exactly these events will entail have yet to be announced, but Niantic has assured fans who won’t be able to make it to these events in person that they will be able to participate in the celebrations as well, just like during past Pokémon GO Fests.

Niantic also revealed the dates of the next four Community Day events beyond this month’s, which are set for May 19, June 8, July 21, and August 3. Which Pokémon will be featured during each of these Community Days has not yet been revealed.
