One of the concerns some Pokémon fans have about the upcoming Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! games is that they look too easy. While this may be the case for the main game, players who want an extra challenge will find one in the game’s post-game content.

Recently, it was revealed that Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Eevee! will contain Master Trainer challenges in their post-games. After becoming the League Champion, the player can take on these 151 Master Trainers, each of whom specializes in a specific species of Pokémon; and with 151 of them, that means that there’s a Master Trainer for every Pokémon in the Kanto Pokédex. There will be a Charizard Master Trainer, a Haunter Master Trainer, a Pidgey Master Trainer, etc.

When battling against a Master Trainer, they will only use one Pokémon: the one they specialize in training. Here’s where the challenge comes in: the player will also only be able to use one Pokémon, and it has to be the Pokémon that the Master Trainer you’re fighting against is using. Both the player and the Master Trainer won’t be able to use items during the battle, so it is truly a match to see who is better at training that specific Pokémon and nothing else. Once you defeat a Master Trainer, you will gain their title. For example, defeating the Ditto Master will make you the new Ditto Master. It will no doubt be quite the challenge trying to become the Master of every Pokémon.

Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Eevee! will launch for the Nintendo Switch on November 16.
