Nintendo just announced that a brand new Pokemon themed Nintendo Direct presentation will take place tomorrow, June 6th at 10am Eastern Time. Coming in just before E3, this could be a big announcement for the series. Fans have been waiting with bated breath at the prospect of Pokemon shifting to the Nintendo Switch, with the game rumored to be called Pokemon Stars. Could this be the big announcement, or will we get some other surprise, perhaps with an additional game on 3DS or mobile.
The Nintendo Direct will only last a total of eight minutes, so this seems to be focused on some single big announcement, or a few smaller ones. We’ve seen Directs like this before, and they usually deliver more than people were expecting, such as the Sun and Moon reveal that went into some pretty great detail about the upcoming games.
You’ll be able to watch the show live right here, and we’ll be watching and sharing all the details as well, so be sure to check back for updates tomorrow. If this does end up being Pokemon Stars, or whatever they call the Switch game, then expect fans to be ridiculously excited, and be ready for more revelations at E3 2017.
