Pokemon Go and Pokemon Sun and Moon have definitely gotten the majority of the attention during Pokemon’s 20th anniversary celebration, but we must not forget Pokken Tournament that arrived for Wii U earlier this year. Releasing prior in Japanese arcades, the arcade version has added two characters that are not on the console version at this point and now they are set to announce another.

Just like with the past reveals, the official Japanese Pokken Tournament Twitter page posted a picture that teased their next fighter reveal that is set to come tomorrow, November 1.

Darkrai was the first character to be added beyond the roster that console owners have, with Scizor getting added very recently as well. While the third could be a big surprise, there is a very good chance we already know just who it will be.

At this point, all signs seem to be pointing to Empoleon being the next addition to the Pokken Tournament roster. Even though no DLC characters have been added to the Wii U version, dataminers discovered information in one of the patches that had Darkrai, Scizor, and Empoleon all mentioned in it. As a result, that seems like the logical option at this point, though we’ll have to stay tuned tomorrow to see if that is the case.
