Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End may have just been delayed by a couple weeks to May 10, but the game is still very close regardless. As a result, Naughty Dog is holding yet another beta, this time of the open variety.
As of right now, the Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End open beta is going on for PlayStation after starting yesterday. This beta is open to everybody that owns a PS4, rather than just to those who bought Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection as was done in the closed beta.
Naughty Dog is saying this final beta is being used as a multiplayer stress test, as anybody can try it out this weekend. This means large numbers will likely take part, which will greatly help them to polish the online components before release.
For those interested in taking part in the beta this weekend, simply go to the PlayStation Store and download the Uncharted 4 Multiplayer Client, which is estimated to be around 7 GB. Making this experience even better is that you don’t even have to be a PS Plus member to participate in this, even though it involves online play.
Make sure to go ahead and get the beta downloaded and start playing as this will only last until tomorrow, March 6 at 11:59 pm PT. Otherwise, look for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End to arrive on May 10 exclusively for PS4.
