PSN Status Is Offline For Some People Today

The PSN status is offline for many gamers today as Sony is doing an unplanned maintenance. This means you cannot log-in to some services today.

If you visit the PSN Status website, you can see that “some services are experiencing issues”. This includes Account Management and Gaming and Social.

Here’s what was said in Account Management: “You may have some difficulty signing in or creating an account on PlayStation™Network. Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, and we thank you for your patience.“.

Here’s the post about Gaming and Social: “You may have some difficulty launching games, applications or online features. Our engineers are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, and we thank you for your patience.”

Both the PS4 and PS3 are affected by this. I also tried out the PlayStation App on my phone and couldn’t log in either. This is slightly annoying since The Tomorrow Children is out today. That game requires you to log-in online to get the most out of it.

We’re not sure how long this outage/maintenance will last. You will just have to check on Twitter for all of the updates. Many people are already voicing their frustrations…
