Namco Bandai has taken the wraps off of Ridge Racer Unbounded for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. The announcement trailer which you find below takes a sharp turn away from the traditional build that Ridge Racer is know for.
The flash and color styles seemed to have been traded for a more dark and dangerous feel to the game. As you can see below in the trailer there is an element of destruction to the new Ridge Racer game and those including myself that have already seen the trailer liken it to a Namco version of Burnout series.
Smart move, arcade racers plus awesome damage modeling and environmental destruction equals win. In my book anyway. No finer points of the title have been announced just yet. That means no release date, but expect more in the coming months.
