Rise of the Tomb Raider PC May Have A Release Date In January

It looks like the PC version of Rise of the Tomb Raider might be out sooner rather than later according to the game’s official Steam listing.

Steam has uploaded the official listing for Rise of the Tomb Raider. On the page itself, it says “Available January 2016“. It’s possible we may know an exact release date for the game very soon.

This falls in line with Square Enix’s announcement that the PC version of the game is coming in early 2016. People assumed it would be out in February or March. It’s great to see that it looks like it will be out in January.

This means the PC version is coming out only two months after releasing on Xbox One and Xbox 360. The game came out the on the same day as Fallout 4 unfortunately. However, great reviews and good word of mouth has helped make the game popular during the Holiday season.

Sadly, PS4 gamers will have to wait much longer to play Rise of the Tomb Raider. It has a late 2016 release for PlayStation gamers. There won’t be a PS3 version as only an Xbox 360 port was made.
