Rumor: Rise of the Tomb Raider On Xbox 360 May Not Release Simultaneously With Xbox One

Some new evidence suggests the Xbox 360 version of Rise of the Tomb Raider might not come out the same time as the Xbox One version.

Square Enix recently posted details of its most recent financial report. The report looks at games the company plans to release during the current fiscal year. This means games coming out now until March 31st, 2016. Rise of the Tomb Raider is listed, but only the Xbox One platform was noted.

This doesn’t look like an error because at the bottom, you can see that Just Cause 3 is also coming out this year. That game however has the PC, PS4 and Xbox One platforms listed. How come Rise of the Tomb Raider on Xbox 360 is not on their financial report?

This could be an indication that the Xbox 360 version of Rise of the Tomb Raider could be delayed. The report says the game is coming out on Xbox One during Holiday Season 2015. It’s possible the Xbox 360 version of the game isn’t out until 2016 perhaps.

Microsoft hve said recently Rise of the Tomb Raider is still planned to be released for both Xbox One and Xbox 360. It’s unlikely the last-gen version has been cancelled upright. Maybe Xbox 360 owners just have to wait longer. We still haven’t received Mortal Kombat X on PS3 and Xbox 360…
