Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens had some pretty looking filming locations. It appears Star Wars: Episode 8 will be similar as a certain beautiful place in Croatia is said to be one of the locations being used in the film.
According to a report from MakingStarWars, Star Wars: Episode 8 will film in Dubrovnik, Croatia. The reason it has been chosen is because not only does the place look beautiful, but it also offers tax breaks.
Some people may notice the location already if you watched Game of Thrones before. It does have an old fashioned style look to it. It could be a location where certain characters might be training to become Jedi.
Bear in mind this news hasn’t been officially confirmed just yet, but it does look look like a location that is appropriate for the Star Wars universe. With the script rewrites, this may have caused major changes to filming locations among other things as well.
If you did not know already, Star Wars: Episode 8 has been delayed from its original May 2017 release date until December 2017. Avatar 2 has been delayed too so both movies don’t have to fight each other at the Box Office.
Star Wars: Episode 8 is the direct sequel to The Force Awakens. Most of the cast from The Force Awakens will be back. There will also be some new characters too.
