With only a few days left in February, gamers have been anxiously awaiting news of what games would be coming to Xbox Live’s Games With Gold for the month of March. Microsoft has yet to formally announce anything involving what games will be apart of the March offering for Games With Gold, but it appears that may have now been leaked.
First popping up on Reddit earlier was someone claiming to know which games would be coming, which he said would be:
- Rayman Legends – Xbox One (March 1-March 31)
- Tomb Raider – Xbox 360 (March 1-March 15)
- Bioshock Infinite – Xbox 360 (March 16-March 31)
Anyone can go on Reddit and post something like this without proof and will typically be ignored, but then other sites started to reach out to sources and there was no denying of this. The most interesting proof however is that it supposedly came from Microsoft ExpertZone, which is a training program and service for Microsoft sales reps that provides insider information on the comings and goings of the company. In fact, one NeoGAF member that has a membership provided an image that shows exactly that same list, plus one other factoid.
According to this leaked image, April will feature double the Games With Gold offerings, which means two new Xbox One games and four new Xbox 360 games.
Considering that the first games for March will be available this Sunday, it is quite likely that we’ll hear official confirmation of these Games With Gold titles as soon as tomorrow, so stay tuned.
Update: This news have been confirmed by Xbox Wire.
