For about four years now, fans of the Scribblenauts series have been wondering when they’ll see a new entry in the series. Luckily for them, publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced today (January 16) that a new game is coming.

According to Polygon, the new game Scribblenauts Showdown will be released this March. The game will take on more of a party game format, built around multiple players and several minigames. Up to four players can pick from series protagonist Maxwell, as well as other recurring and new characters, to battle it out in over twenty-five word-based minigames in Showdown Mode. There will also be a Versus Mode, which will allow two players to go head-to-head, or for one player to take on a CPU, as well as Sandbox Mode, which will resemble a more traditional Scribblenauts game.

This new game will also be the first in the series to be developed by Shiver Entertainment. All previous games in the series, including the cancelled mobile game Scribblenauts: Fighting Words, were developed by 5th Cell. However, 5th Cell experienced major layoffs in 2016 and haven’t released a game since. Scribblenauts Showdown will be released on March 6 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
