Atlus has premiered the second trailer for Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux, a 4 minute video in which the company showcases some of the new additions of this new version for Nintendo 3DS. The trailer shows sequences with the new graphics and some animated scenes the main group of protagonists plus a new character addition: the mysterious Alex. Additionally, the game now features a voice cast for all the dialogues.

The trailer also showcases a special physical edition of the game for Japan, although it is not confirmed to be available for North America and Europe when the game launches there in 2018.

Strange Journey follows the adventures of a special task force sent to Antartica to investigate a distortion known as the Schwarzwelt. Once they arrive there, they discover that the distortion has let a series of creatures from another dimension to crossover to Earth. As it is traditional in the Shin Megami Tensei series (and its spin off Persona), the gameplay features turn-based battles focused around the use of demonic creatures depending on their nature, which can be captured by the player. Exploration and battles are done in first-person perspective.

Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux will launch for Nintendo 3DS in Japan (under the name Deep Strange Journey) on October 26, while it will arrive to North America and Europe on early 2018. Check out more information in the official website of the game, and watch the trailer below.
