The Sherlock Holmes video game series is set to return soon with the release of The Devil’s Daughter, and now Bigben Studios and Frogwares has released a new gameplay trailer to get the hype train rolling.
The trailer sees Sherlock Holmes helping out a man named Tom Hurst, whose father has recently gone missing. What this results in is Holmes taking to the streets of Whitechapel to collect clues on the whereabouts of Hurst’s father, though this leads to some unexpected situations. The Devil’s Daughter will be the 8th Sherlock Holmes game that Frogwares has developed, starting with Mystery of the Mummy in 2002. The series has been getting better and better with time, with 2014’s Crimes and Punishments being considered by many to be the best in the series so far.
Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter is set to launch for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on June 10th. Check out the new gameplay trailer below.
