Activision and Raven Software have released a small new update patch to the Xbox One version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. A minor note has been released to tell you what it does.

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered update patch is only 45MB in size. Only an update has been released for the Xbox One version of the game today.

Lead Designer for Raven Software, Amos Hodge, tweeted out a small message on what it does: “There was a XB1 #MWRemastered update today. It enabled joining on friends from the social menu and contained a fix for an edge case crash.”

That’s all of the official notes that have been released for it so far. It’s not a big update patch, so it shouldn’t take you too long to wait for it.

Unlike previous years, some gamers now have two Call of Duty games on their hard drives this year. Be prepared to free up some space because both Modern Warfare Remastered and Infinite Warfare will have many other update patches in the near future. Raven Software are continuing to monitor your feedback so let them know the areas of the game that need the most improvements.

Update: A new update is now live for the PS4 version of Modern Warfare Remastered. We will make another post for patch notes when they come our way.
