Sony has just presented a new lineup of semi-transparent Dualshock 4 wireless controllers for PS4 that will launch this fall. The new range includes variations in red, white, and blue, and they let users see all the components that make the controller work. These are based on the latest redesign of the Dualshock 4, which now lets players see from above the light that the controller uses to signal the level of health or simply improve the immersion in the game.
The new range is based on last year’s Crystal Dualshock 4 controller that proved to be extremely popular for referencing the classic semi-transparent controllers from earlier PlayStation consoles. Also, with these three new Dualshock 4, the company keeps expanding the ever-growing collection of PS4controllers, which now includes multiple colors like gold, silver, white, textures like metal, and themes like camouflage.
While the announcement has been made through the European PlayStation Blog, the range is also expected to launch in North America soon. The European release will have some expections, though, as Russia is not included in the countries that will receive the new range, and the United Kingdom will only receive the White Crystal wireless controller.
The new Crystal Dualshock 4 controller range launches in Europe on October 17.
