Sony’s PlayStation 4 is still selling like hotcakes. Sony recently revealed their worldwide tally as of April 6th, 2014, and the surpassed 7 million consoles sold. In the announcement, they also revealed that over 20 million games have been sold between traditional retailers and the PlayStation Store, as of April 13th.

The last figures we heard from Sony were back in March, when the company announced it had eclipsed the 6 million console mark. Sony’s launch of the PlayStation 4 has been pitch perfect from a marketing perspective, and it’s showing in the sales data.

When we last heard from the NPD Group, Sony was still leading Microsoft in sales of next-gen consoles in North America, as well as worldwide. Though we haven’t gotten a clear picture of how Titanfall might have impacted sales figures just yet for the Xbox One in March.
