Square Enix preparing for Xbox 720 & PS4

The console makers might not be letting anything slip about next generation consoles, but publishers are starting to prepare for them.  Xbox 720 (a tenative name) and PS4 (also tenative) haven’t even been close to announced yet.  Although a recent job listing has Microsoft searching for engineers for a project that could be looked at as the next gen console, Sony has recently come out against a next generation console anytime soon.

But Square Enix is preparing for the next generation allready by opening a new studio in Canada.  The employees of the new studio are said to be scheduled to work on “large scale games for new generations of home consoles.”  The studio is said to house 100 employees, although a definitive location has not been settled on.  Up in the air right now, Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal which they already have one development house in Eidos Montreal.
