Square Enix has now released the final designs to the Play Arts Kai figurines for Final Fantasy 7 Remake. This includes both Cloud and Barret.

We had a look at these figurines before, but these are the final designs which have been colored. They look awesome and these are the designs that are based on their look in Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Cloud looks like he did in the trailer while Barret comes with his cool sunglasses.

Both figures come at a price of 15,984 yen which equates to $139. The figures aren’t cheap, although they are slightly less expensive than anything released by Hot Toys. Hot Toys have the most expensive figurines available on the market.

No release dates have been revealed for these toys, but Barret is available first in the month of April while Cloud is coming out a month later in May. You can usually import these figures for yourself from specialty online retailers.

We still don’t know when the actual Final Fantasy 7 Remake video game will be out, but it’s set to be released in multiple parts. It’s rumored the first part of the game is out in 2017 to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the release of the original game back in 1997.

Final Fantasy 7 shook the world when it came out two decades ago. At the time, gamers never experienced anything so epic with the music and amazing backdrops. Fans have been longing for a remake for many years and it’s great that we are finally getting one. It’s a proper remake unlike the many remasters that are released that just have minimal changes to the gameplay and visuals.

The Final Fantasy 7 Remake is expected to be out first on PS4 with other platforms to follow after that. More news about the game will be shared next year.
