St. Patrick’s Day Celebration Begins in Modern Warfare Remastered

Starting today, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is hosting a holiday themed celebration in honor of St. Patrick’s Day.  The promotion runs from today through April 3rd, where all players get access to a free map called Daybreak.

Daybreak is a modified version of the map Downpour, that features the holiday themed decorations.  It turns the dreary Downpour map into a lush environment fit for the celebration.  Playing on the map will offer players in-game challenges that’ll allow them to earn holiday-themed weapon camo.

Modern Warfare Remastered players who participate in during the promotion will get a free Supply Drop each week just by logging in.  A number of other themed items can be acquired during the “Shamrock and Awe” promotion.  These include Camos, Calling Cards, Emblems, Reticles, and an unlockable character (Darren “Graves” Cosgrave).

You’ll be earning unlockables throughout the promotion that are broken down into sets.  Unlock all three collections and you’ll get the character to keep.  He’s only available during the promotion so you’ll need to get these things done before April 3.
