Tomorrow, June 10th marks the full gameplay reveal of Star Wars Battlefront 2, but today we got some additional details about the highly anticipated shooter. According to a new post from EA and DICE, the Star Wars Battlefront 2 multiplayer beta will be available this Fall for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
“This fall, you’ll be able to experience the epic scale of the Star Wars universe with a Star Wars Battlefront II multiplayer Beta on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Origin for PC,” reads the announcement. “Even better? Any fans who pre-order the game (or have already pre-ordered it) will be able to start playing the multiplayer Beta early. In addition, anyone who pre-orders will get instant access to an upgraded Epic Lightsaber Mastery Star Card for Yoda, available while supplies last.”
It seems that pre-orders for Star Wars Battlefront 2 will be chock full of extra content, which might upset gamers who felt burned by the slim original title. The previous Battlefront was highly praised for its overall design, but lacked a lot of maps, mechanics, and game modes that fans had hoped would be in the game.
Those who pre-order the sequel will get:Â Exclusive Star Wars: The Last Jedi outfits for Kylo Ren and Rey. Instant access to six hero and starfighter epic Star Cards: Kylo Ren: Power Reach and Solid Freeze, Rey: Far Sight and Deep Mind, and Starfighters: Enhanced Auxiliary Power and First Order ship upgrade. Instant access to Star Wars: The Last Jedi Millennium Falcon with updated sounds and appearance.”
Star Wars Battlefront 2 hits PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 17th.
