Star Wars Battlefront Boxart Revealed Ahead Of Trailer

Star Wars news is constant today and now comes word of the official boxart for the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront from DICE and EA.

The reveal comes in via Official PlayStation Magazine’s UK Twitter account which showed off the NTSC (North American) boxart for the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront. The boxart shows what appears to be a remodeled AT-AT walker coming towards a very ballsy rebel atop his T-47 Airspeeder (Snowspeeder), blaster in hand. So, unless he is Luke Skywalker himself, he is pretty much screwed. Either way, coupled with TIE fighters above, and the snow covered wasteland, it makes for one interesting cover. Except for having EA branded twice on the cover being a bit redundant.

Of course that wasn’t the only news today as earlier announcements showed off screens and the release date which was uncovered via source code at the official website. Fans of DICE’s previous work, and Star Wars fans alike have a lot riding on Star Wars Battlefront. Hopefully we will find out tomorrow when the trailer premieres at the Star Wars Convention during a panel which starts at 10:30 am PT.

Star Wars Battlefront is expected to release on November 17th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC according to the aforementioned official site coding.
