Star Wars fever is in full force with Star Wars Battlefront coming next month and then Star Wars: The Force Awakens in theaters a month later. Star Wars Battlefront is coming to both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on the console side, but it is also coming to PC. As a result, PC specs are very important and they have finally been revealed.
Star Wars Battlefront is the long awaited follow-up to this series that garnered a lot of praise back in the day. That means that everyone is so excited to play this one after such a long wait and certainly wants to be prepared for the game’s release.
Luckily, Origin has officially revealed both the minimum and recommended PC system specs, which you can see below:
Minimum PC System Requirements
OS: 64-bit Windows 7 or later
Processor (Intel): Intel i3 6300T or equivalent
Memory: 8GB RAM
Hard Drive: At least 40 GB of free space
Graphics card (NVIDIA): nVidia GeForce GTX 660 2GB
Graphics card (ATI): ATI Radeon HD 7850 2GB
DirectX: 11.0 Compatible video card or equivalent
Online Connection Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection
Recommended PC System Requirements
OS: 64-bit Windows 10 or later
Processor (Intel): Intel i5 6600 or equivalent
Memory: 16GB RAM
Hard Drive: At least 40 GB of free space
Graphics card (NVIDIA): nVidia GeForce GTX 970 4GB
Graphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon R9 290 4GB
DirectX: 11.1 Compatible video card or equivalent
Online Connection Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection
It certainly sounds like that Star Wars Battlefront is going to require a pretty strong computer to play on, so make sure you get ready for the launch of the game on November 17.
Remember that the Star Wars Battlefront Beta is also set to start on October 8 for PC through Origin, and if you want to get as much time in as possible, you can pre-load it starting tomorrow, October 7 at 1 am PT.
