It was initially thought that Star Wars: Battlefront would only include the original trilogy, but it looks like it could span the entire saga of movies.

MakingStarWars.net has apparently received a ton of exclusive new information on Star Wars: Battlefront. First of all, the game’s campaign will span the entire live-action movie saga.

The majority of Star Wars: Battlefront’s campaign takes place in the original trilogy. Only a small section is from the prequel trilogy. There will also be a small segment from Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens. However, this part of the game will be short as it’s expected the game will be out a month before the movie. The rest of the content from The Force Awakens will be offered as future DLC.

There will also be a portion of Star Wars: Battlefront that takes place between the events of Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. LucasArts however has kept this segment short too, as they want to explore this era more in the future.

Multiplayer in Star Wars: Battlefront is expected to be huge with 64 players in one battle. The “Hero” system returns so you can play as a powerful character for a limited time. This means you could have access to playing as Luke Skywalker or Darth Vader in multiplayer matches for a brief moment.

The only somewhat bad news from this rumored leak of Star Wars: Battlefront is that the game will have an aggressive DLC plan. This means there might be a lot of characters, ships and maps only available as paid DLC. As aforementioned, The Force Awakens is expected to have the most DLC to avoid any spoilers.

EA plans to release Star Wars: Battlefront in November 2015 for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. This will get fans hyped for The Force Awakens opening in cinemas on December 18th, 2015.
