Disney has revealed several new Star Wars: Rogue One toys via a unique stop motion animation video. It shows you a mix of LEGO and Black Series toys.
The short video is an announcement of sorts for a competition for fans to create their own Star Wars short stories. The video shows several of the main characters in Star Wars: Rogue One plus the Stormtroopers.
The new video also shows us the planet of Jedha briefly. This is a new planet that has never been seen before in the Star Wars universe. It’s making its debut in Rogue One.
“These fan-created shorts are a tribute to the incredible content that the Star Wars community posts online every day,” said Jimmy Pitaro, U.S Chairman, Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media. “The Go Rogue campaign was designed with Star Wars fans in mind – we want them to be front and center in the run up to ‘Rogue One’ by imagining and creating their own Rogue Stories.”
The competition for the short story skits is open worldwide and starts on September 30th, 2016. If you manage to win, you will be able to attend a special screening of Rogue One in San Francisco with Lucasfilm.
