Following a thrilling Grand Finals at Capcom Cup 2017, Street Fighter producer Yoshinori Ono took the stage where he unveiled every single Season 3 character who will be coming to Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition come 2018.

Overall, the characters joining the roster in Season 3 will be Sakura, Sagat, Blanka, Cody, G and Falke.

Sakura got an entire trailer dedicated to her, and it showed her off with a new look and some interesting moves at her disposal. Thankfully, Capcom was kind enough to show what her two V-Triggers are, so there’s no need for guesswork. The first one is called Haru Arashi and the second is called Sakura Senpu. Keeping up with the Sakura theme, her stage from Street Fighter Alpha 2 will also be making a return.

The second trailer didn’t focus much on any single character, instead offering a look at Street Fighter V’s new cinematic opening. That said, Capcom managed to put any preexisting rumors to rest by revealing all the remaining Season 3 characters who will be joining the roster.

Overall, the new set of characters is quite interesting because people didn’t see most of them coming. The only two characters anyone anticipated were Sagat and Sakura thanks to the finale at Red Bull Battlegrounds where sakura petals rained down following the conclusion. On the other hand, Blank and Cody — who seems to be the Mayor now? — were totally unexpected. And, of course, the top hat wearing G and apparent Bison doll Falke, are completely new.

Showing off exactly who fans can look forward to next month was definitely the right step for Capcom, now all that’s left is to wait for them to arrive.

Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition launches for the PlayStation 4 and PC on Jan. 16, 2017.
