Monster Hunter: World is one of Capcom’s most anticipated releases this year, so it is not surprising that the Japanese company is trying to appeal the fans through various bonus content from different sources. For example, today we have known that Street Fighter V is receiving new costumes inspired on the action game which will be available for all players to buy with the in-game currency…as long as they complete certain timed challenges. What, you thought something Monster Hunter-related would be easy to get?
Each costume is inspired on a specific creature from the game, and they are linked to certain Street Fighter characters. Ken, for example, now wears an armor inspired on Rathalos, R. Mika’s takes after Zinogre, and Ibuki receives a costume of Kirin.
The outfits can be obtained through a series of challenges available on the new Extra Mode introduced in the new Arcade Edition update, available as a free download for all owners of the original version. Each three outfit will be available a different month, and players will need to clear one challenge in each of the four weeks preceding. For example, the first challenge of the Rathalos armor for Ken starts on February 27, the first one for the Zinogre armor for R. Mika starts on March 8, and the first challenge for the Kirin armor for Ibuki starts on March 15. To check out the full calendar check out Capcom’s blog. Each attempt at a challenge will cost you 2,500 Fight Money.
Street Fighter V is available now on PS4 and PC.
