The acclaimed adventure Syberia is coming to Nintendo Switch this fall, publisher Microïds has announced. Players will now have the chance to relive the original entry of the series with the option to play anywhere they like in portable mode or to relax playing on TV. The excellent story and art design made this a videogame classic, and attracted a numerous fanbase that has made possible for the series to continue to this day, with Syberia 3 launching in April.

The series tells the adventures of Kate Walker, a young New York lawyer who is sent to the French Alps to arrange the sale of an old automaton factory. But that will only be the beginning of a long journey that will take her through Eastern Europe, accompanied by a very peculiar automaton called Oscar, until reaching the land of Syberia, which will also be the last piece of the puzzle for her adventures.

Microïds was quick to respond to the early success of Nintendo Switch, and is planning to port the entire trilogy to the console.

Syberia launches for Nintendo Switch on October 20 in North America and Europe. Watch the trailer below.
