Telltale Games has announced that Tales from the Borderlands Episode 4 will arrive some time later this month. The news came from the usual source, the Twitter account of Telltale’s Head of Creative Communications, Job J. Stauffer.
He tweeted “Tales from the Borderlands Ep 4 is on its way to Helios this month. Going through incredible measures not to spoil this one. Stay close…” In regards to what the episode would contain story and gameplay wise, Stauffer sarcastically responded to fans saying “No one goes to space. No one has an epic shootout. No one will cry, EASY decisions, and nothing bad happens at all!”
Tales from the Borderlands has had a fairly rough development cycle. The second episode was famously re-written almost from the ground up, resulting in a massive delay between episodes that was even longer than Telltale has become infamous for.
Thankfully, as the series has progressed, the schedule has thoroughly improved, with Tales from the Borderlands Episode 4 scheduled to hit around two months after the previous entry. Also something to be thankful for is the overall high quality of Tales from the Borderlands, with the series garnering near universal praise and quickly becoming one of Telltale’s best series.
