Bandai Namco has now launched an official website for Tekken 7 ahead of its arcade release later this month.
The exciting announcement was made on the official Tekken Project Twitter page. The Twitter page said that the “official Tekken 7 website is now open”. The website launches ahead of the pre-launch arcade version of the game coming to some arcade places in Japan on February 18th.
Tekken 7 director, Katsuhiro Harada, reconfirmed on his Twitter page that the full arcade launch of the game is coming out in mid-March. This will be the full arcade launch in Japan. It’s likely the game won’t be arriving in other countries until later this year. Bandai Namco has yet to talk about a console release for the game.
As of the official Tekken 7 website itself, there’s unfortunately not much content in it so far. A lot of the tabs are closed with a “coming soon” sign on them. Not to mention the whole website is all in Japanese.
The most interesting part of the Tekken 7 website is that it shows the list of characters in the game so far. There’s only 20 characters in the game at the moment.
The characters listed are: Claudio, Katarina, Lucky Chloe, Shaheen, Kazuya, Heihachi, Lars, Asuka, Lili, Alisa, Xiaoyu, Feng, Paul, Marshall Law, Steve, Leo, Hwoarang, King, Dragunov and Bryan.
