Check it out below, and get ready to play the game tomorrow.
Telltale’s Guardians of the Galaxy is looking like it could be the best game from the developer since Tales from the Borderlands. That’s not to say any of their recent releases weren’t good, but there’s something about their storytelling method and comedy that just go so well together. Mix in some action and a large ensemble and you’ve got a true classic.
Five episodes will be released over the course of this series, with Telltale taking efforts lately to not make players wait too long between new entries. The Walking Dead: A New Frontier had some hiccups here, with a few months in between the two-episode premier and the follow up. We’ll see if they can remain on schedule for Guardians of the Galaxy.
Still, the longer delay usually results in a better experience. Tales from the Borderlands saw huge lags in between episodes, but it was because the developer was taking in feedback and changing the script to better fit what was working well. Without the delays we would have ended up with a very different game than we got, which could have been unfortunate.
Check out the launch trailer below to get ready for Telltale’s Guardians of the Galaxy, which will hit tomorrow across multiple platforms.
