The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited has been available for a few weeks now on consoles and it has finally received its first patch that looks to address many issues on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Many issues seem to be causes of crashing, so it is good to see them remedying this, even if it is a few weeks after release.

The first major console patch looks to address many crashing issues as well as improve UI and many issues that users have reported during quests, guilds and much more. The patch is dubbed 1.04 on PlayStation 4 which is available now, and 1.0.0.5 on Xbox One which should be live soon. Below are some general fixes, for the full patch list for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One visit the respective forums.

General

Fixed an issue where your game could crash when teleporting to a forward camp or keep in Cyrodiil.

Fixed an issue where you were unable to view campaign information or POIs on the Cyrodiil map after joining a new campaign.

Fixed an issue that was causing grass to flicker.

Fixed an issue that would cause Lyris to not walk properly on stairs during the tutorial quest.

Fixed an issue where particle effects would block your view in some cases while in first-person view.

It is good to see Zenimax and Bethesda keeping up with the issues that are plaguing console users. Hopefully this is a sign of good things to come when the expansion start to roll out on all platforms.
