The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will have a day one update waiting for those who purchase the game, and it looks like its main purpose is to get the game’s DLC ready. The game does have a season pass that is available to purchase, though there’s currently only one piece of DLC that players will have access to when the game launches.

The DLC in question features three treasure chests that have in-game clothing and “useful items,” which will be available to those who have already purchased the game’s $20 season pass. However, the season pass will also include two full expansions of the game, one of which will be coming in the Summer and another coming during the holiday season. It’s also worth noting that these will not be available to purchase individually, so it’s either buy the season pass and get all the content or get none of it.

However, for those of you who don’t mind season passes then you’ll likely end up wanting to check out the one featured with this game, considering that it is one of the highest reviewed games of all time. We loved the game, saying “The simple fact is that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is one of the best games ever made. It marks a turning point for the medium that will be learned from for some time. It is a system seller in every sense of the word, and if you don’t already have a way to play it, you owe it to yourself to find one.”

It won’t be much longer for Nintendo fans until they can finally play the new Zelda and the Switch, as both will launch tomorrow. If you’re looking for information on how the console performs, then be sure to check out our review of it.
