Through it all, you’ve been able to import your save from previous games, sometimes requiring a bit of extra work to get the job done. Now, for The Walking Dead: The Final Season Telltale has created what’s likely the easiest and coolest way to start from scratch and create your own custom save file for the upcoming release.
The Walking Dead: The Final Season Story Builder is an interactive experience that can be played right in your web browser. The tool will walk you through key events of the series, letting you make the same choices you made all those years ago, or making new ones to see the unique consequences. If you’re transitioning from old platforms, or just want to craft a tailored experience for this last season of the series, this tool is how you’ll do it.
After making all of your choices, you just need to upload the save to your Telltale account. After that you can use that same account on PS4, Xbox One, or PC and download the custom save file you created. The Walking Dead: The Final Season premiers on August 14th.
