Telltale’s The Walking Dead series has been one of gaming’s finest stories for the last few years. Now, with the upcoming release of its fourth season, the series is coming to a close. The Walking Dead: The Final Season brings the focus back to Clementine, following her quest to reunite with a lost friend from previous seasons. We’ve had some scant details revealed about the game before, but today sees the biggest info dump yet with the official release date and a brand new trailer.

The Walking Dead: The Final Season will arrive on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on August 14th, with pre-order opening on June 8th for the entire season. As this is a somewhat shortened season, coming in at just four episodes instead of the usual five, the price has gone down to compensate. $19.99 will get you access to the whole story, and if you preorder on PS4 or Xbox One you’ll get much more than that.

Every pre-order on those consoles will come with a copy of The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series Collection at no additional charge. This set of nineteen episodes from the series gathers the entire story so far, including Seasons 1, 2, and 3, along with the Michonne spinoff and 400 Days DLC.
