Final Fantasy 15 will be released for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles later this year. Square Enix currently has no plans to release the game on any other platforms at this time.

Final Fantasy 15 director, Hajime Tabata, spoke with Game Reactor Spain and he confirmed to the website that there are no plans to release the game for the Nintendo NX console at the moment. As of right now, the game will only be available for PS4 and Xbox One.

That’s not to say that Tabata is not a fan of Nintendo. In the same interview, Tabata says that he has high expectations for the NX console and is interested on what it can bring to the table. He also said that he’s looking forward to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Nintendo have been quiet about how innovative the NX console really is. The company want to surprise everyone when it finally reveals information about it. The company is hoping the NX could garner the same amount of success as the original Wii console.

As for Final Fantasy 15, that will be out on September 30th, 2016 for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles. Square Enix want to concentrate on these platforms first before thinking about porting it elsewhere.
