Rockstar Games has yet to comment on whether or not the PC gaming community will get their version of GTA V, but all this recent news about the upcoming title has obviously gotten PC gamers motivated to get answers from the developer.
A new petition was recently formed that is looking to show Rockstar that there is a significant interest in a PC version of the game. The group is off to a good start, as it’s already gotten close to 45,000 signatures in total, on Change.org.
Signing the petition adds your name to a letter to Rockstar Games, pleading with the developer for a PC version of its next Grand Theft Auto title. It reads:
“Please release GTA V on PC. GTA games have been a large part of so many peoples lives and it’s a big shame not seeing the newest iteration of the game being releases on the most powerful platform. Things like modifications have always been a HUGE part of PC gaming and modded GTA is some of the most insanely fun times you can have.
I hope you consider the release of GTA V on PC as it’ll make many people very happy!”
About a month ago, when Rockstar confirmed the spring release window for GTA V, the company only announced the game for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. They were immediately flooded with response wondering when and if a PC version would arrive, and relayed the following message to awaiting fans. “For those asking about the PC platform, we’re currently focused on the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game and don’t have any details to share about a PC version at this time.”
