While Titanfall 2 isn’t set to launch until this October, there is a beta for the game on consoles that has now officially gone live. To accompany the launch of the beta, an extensive video has been released that focuses on the game’s multiplayer to get you warmed up for the weekend beta.
The video was uploaded by PlayStation Blog, which features over 27 minutes of gameplay spread across two of the game’s multiplayer modes. There’s a lot of great footage to check out here, and you can see it for yourself at the bottom of this post.
In case you didn’t know, this beta (called a multiplayer tech test) will be available to everyone, as all they have to do is search for it on their console and they can start the download. This beta phase for the game will run from August 19th to August 21st, which will then be followed up by another one that will run from August 26th to August 28th.
Unfortunately, this beta will only be accessible on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with the developer claiming that they haven’t quite optimized the game enough on PC. Also, they are more concerned with dataminers on the PC version potentially spoiling information on the game before it launches.
The highly-anticipated follow-up to Titanfall is set to launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on October 28th. Check out the new multiplayer footage below.
