The latest handheld from Sony has officially gone on sale at retailers across the world, and is available in most major markets.  With its hefty price tag and strong competitive headwinds, the company is excited about the new portable gaming centric device.  “PlayStation Vita is the most powerful and connected portable gaming system ever created.  For the first time ever, consumers will find compelling PS3 console-like gameplay experiences on-the-go from the most popular PlayStation franchises as well as titles unique to PS Vita,” CEO Jack Tretton recently explained.

But are you buying one?

If you’re a handheld fan that bought a Nintendo 3DS at launch, you likely still have a bit of a sour taste from the quick price drop from Nintendo following the launch of that handheld.  Whether Sony will be forced to take the same drastic measures, is something that many analysts are predicting for the months following the release.

So with the launch of this new handheld, we want to hear what you have to say about the new device.  It’s our first “Topic of Conversation” a new feature that where we’ll ask for community feedback about the day’s big news .

Let us know if you are getting a PS Vita or waiting it out, what model you are getting etc..  If you already picked up your PS Vita, let us know in the comments section below.
