Tennis World Tour, what is being called a spirtual successor to the Top Spin games is being developed for release in 2018 on both consoles and PC. Â For fans of the Top Spin series, today’s announcement reveals that not only is this a “spirtual successor,” but that developers of those games have been brought in to work on Tennis World Tour.
The game is being developed by Bigben and Breakpoint, the first details from the announcement reveal a couple of features to expect. Â Tennis World Tour will allow players to play through the careers of more than 30 playable tennis stars, these include Roger Federer, Gael Monfils, Angelique Kerber, and Garbine Muguruza.
Tennis World Tour is said to be a tennis simulation, faithful to the game itself, and featuring a wide variety of different playstyles and strategies to employ.
According to one of the developers for the game who worked on Top Spin 4 had this to say about the game. Â “Our aim is to give all tennis fans a game that is finally worthy of their enthusiasm. The level of quality, wealth of content and game mechanics planned for Tennis World Tour will ensure that it will be one of the best sport simulations available.”
The next stop for details on Tennis World Tour will be Gamescom later this year.
