Ubisoft has shared the trailer for the upcoming DLC story expansion of Assassin’s Creed Origins. Titled ‘ The Hidden Ones,’ the name makes reference to the first steps of the Assassins brotherhood in the Sinai peninsula, where the occupying Roman forces fight against a rebel faction. This chapter takes place four years after the events of the main game, and it features Bayek once again as the hero, and by the looks of the trailer, the story promises a cinematic experience filled with powerful villains. A perfect epilogue for one of the most spectacular entries in the series.
Players will get to carry all their customization options into the new expansion, including abilities and gear. And they will probably need all of it, as Ubisoft recommends to play the expansion at a level close to 40, the maximum of the main story. For those who reached that top level, the DLC will extend the level cap to 45.
And if you want even more Assassin’s Creed, remember that Ubisoft has recently announced the remastered version of Assassin’s Creed Rogue for PS4 and Xbox One, in which players take control of a Templar agent for the first time in the series.
The Hidden Ones will be available for free to all season pass owners from January 23, or can be purchased by $9.99 by those who own a standard edition of the game. Watch the trailer below.
