Bandai Namco has been giving lots of new details of the upcoming RPG Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time this weekend. Only a month before its Japanese release, the company has revealed that it’s preparing a post-launch update that will add online battles, as well as co-op game in both online and offline mode. To round up the event, they also released a lengthy trailer of more than 5 minutes that showcases all aspects of gameplay and cutscenes.
Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time is based on the anime of the same name available for streaming through Netflix. The game tells a side story and counts with the direct collaboration of the same animators of the series: Studio Triggers. The inclusion of these animated cutscenes and the faifthful visual style of the gameplay makes it a very accomplished videogame adaptation of the show.
As it can be seen in the video, the game offers different gameplay stages in which players assist to classes at the Luna Nova Magical Academy, converse with other classmates, and explore new dungeons, fighting their enemies in real time. The game also builds a strong immersion by featuring the same voices from the anime during exploration and combats.
Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time launches on November 30 in Japan for PS4. It is expected to launch in North America and Europe on early 2018. Watch the new trailer below.
