Electronic Arts has today announced that EA Access members will be able to trial Battlefield Hardline on March 12th.

The trial will be open for gamers to enjoy for a 10 hour period and will be the full game with both singleplayer and multiplayer available. Players’ progress from the trial will carry straight over to the final game, so gamers need not worry that they are wasting their gaming sessions.

EA are keen to point out that this is not a demo and is effectively the final game which will release on March 17th, in North America. Commenting on the EA Access trial the publisher had this to say:

“The trial contains all the multiplayer maps and game modes, giving you first dibs on tons of content never before available to gamers. You’ll also get first crack on the gritty story, experiencing the prologue and first chapter of the thrilling crime drama in Battlefield Hardline crafted by the Visceral team.”

EA Access is a service which already offers a range of fantastic titles for Xbox One including Battlefield Hardline’s predecessor Battlefield 4, EA SPORTS UFC and Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare. The paid for service also offers members discounts on digital purchases. Gamers can sign up and join EA Access today for a monthly cost of $4.99.
