Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is finally almost here after four and a half years of waiting since the release of Uncharted 3 and with that came news yesterday that some people were getting early copies from retailers in Europe like Amazon. It is not know if this is from those copies that were shipped early, but now the game’s back cover has been leaked that gives a little more information about the game.
As provided by ThisGenGaming, the back cover for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has been revealed. The back cover has a heading that says “Every treasure has its price,” with the following non-spoilery description given below it.
“Thrown back into the dangerous underworld he’d tried to leave behind, Nathan Drake must decide what he’s willing to sacrifice to save the ones he loves. Join Drake, Sam, Drake, and Elena on an epic adventure around the globe, through jungle isles, bustling cities, and snow-capped peaks in search of a lost forture.”
There are also a few small images on the back with captions that say “Team up for fast-paced multiplayer” and “Experience the explosive action and adventure of Uncharted.” This specific cover also mentions that it includes the Heist Drake and Snow Weapon multiplayer skins, which are supposed to come as a pre-order bonus for the game, though perhaps it is included in actual first-run copies instead. A reverse cover is also mentioned here on the back that you can switch out to use.
The back cover also has the usual game details, which states that the multiplayer is available for 2-10 players and requires a PS Plus subscription as we already knew. It also says the game will require a minimum of 50 GB to install on the system, but there are no specifics. The PS4 is kind of odd in that you need 50 GB to install most games, even if they are much smaller, so this doesn’t really narrow down the game size.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will be releasing exclusively for PS4 on May 10.
