The latest chapter in the Uncharted saga, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy will arrive on August 22nd, 2017 for a price of $39.99 in the US. The game serves as a side adventure from the main four games, putting Chloe Frazer in as the new main character. Still, while it isn’t a part of the main adventure, this is being worked on by Naughty Dog as a full blown Uncharted experience.

“In December we said that we’re approaching this project as a true Uncharted game—complete with its own deep narrative with complex character development, all-new destinations, refined gameplay, and blockbuster cinematic moments,” explained Naughty Dog. “We’re especially excited to have Chloe as our new protagonist and explore more of her story as she and Nadine venture across India in search of the fabled Tusk of Ganesh. To that end, we wanted to share a new scene from early on in the game as Chloe and Nadine try to unravel the clues leading to the Tusk’s location.”

That “new scene” is currently unavailable, but we’ll add it to the bottom of this article once the video goes live on YouTube (update: posted below). As a special bonus for Naughty Dog fans, anyone who pre-orders Uncharted: The Lost Legacy at select retailers will receive a free copy of Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy for PS4.

Naughty Dog has previously said that this game could run about 10 hours, which explains the lowered price tag of $39.99. Will that be enough for some gamers though, many of which feel that hours played equates to the quality of the game? We’ll see, but Naughty Dog hasn’t failed yet.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy will, as usual for the series, be a PS4 exclusive. Fans of this franchise likely already have a PS4, with tons of hours into Uncharted 4 already ready to go, of course.
