Undertale Could Be Making Its Way To Nintendo Platforms

While Undertale is currently only available to play on PC, the retro-RPG could be making its way to other platforms in the future. While nothing has been confirmed, the game’s creator Toby Fox revealed on Twitter that he has been approached by Nintendo to bring the game to potentially the Wii U and 3DS.

Fox reveals that he was actually approached by Nintendo months ago for a port, “But Game Maker (what I use) doesn’t export to any Nintendo platforms. In most cases, the game would have to be reprogrammed from scratch.”

However, Fox then goes on to say that, “I’m concerned about accuracy/bugs. I’ve reached the point of ‘might as well try it’ though. This isn’t an announcement or promise.”

So, even though this doesn’t mean that anything is definitely going to happen, it’s still good to know that this critically-acclaimed RPG could be experienced by more people. I would say that due to the game’s indie hit status it will definitely end up coming to other platforms at some point.

For those who don’t know, Undertale is notable for being a game that allows you to complete it without killing anyone or by killing everyone. Depending on the path you choose your actions will impact which ending of the game you get, with there being 3 possible endings to end up with.
