Thanks to a video released by EA Brazil recently, we now have some new details regarding the upcoming free DLC content for Star Wars Battlefront. The video was translated by Reddit user Exsound and reveals a good chunk of information in terms of what is coming to the game later this month.
The video reveals that Star Wars Battlefront will be getting a new Tatooine map, as well as new outfits for Luke and Leia later this month. Daily Challenges, Private Matches and Special Community Events will also be coming later this month all in the same update. Again, the content is entirely free and is not at all a part of the game’s Season Pass.
This free content will follow last year’s free Battle of Jakku DLC, which served as a prequel of sorts to Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens with the new map and game mode called Turning Point. More free content for Star Wars Battlefront is expected to release throughout the rest of this year, though how long the game is planned to be supported with free content has not yet been revealed.
Star Wars Battlefront is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, and the free update for the game will be available to download before the month ends.
