Job Simulator was a near-perfect early entry into the VR gaming space. Its developer, Owlchemy Labs delivered one of the earliest and best ways for players to jump into the VR space and their Rick & Morty themed followup was hilarious and fun once again. So any new VR game from Owlchemy is big news, and Vacation Simulator is even moreso as a followup to Job Simulator. We tried the game out at PAX East 2018 as part of the Oculus Game Days celebration. You can read about that right here. Afterward I talked to some of the people who make the games possible. Here’s our interview with three top Owlchemy devs.

We of course talk about the new Vacation Simulator and the things that went into crafting this new experience. I only got to test out a small portion of what will be in the final game, so check out the interview for the few new details the team could share. What was really cool to learn about was how this crew crafts these unfailingly hilarious adventures.

Job Simulator and Rick & Morty were both some of the funniest games out there, let alone within the VR gaming arena. The team has a very unique office culture, as evidenced in Job and Vacation Simulator, so you’ll want to hear all about their process. Check it out in the video below.
