The first ever full trailer for Watch Dogs 2 has been leaked online ahead of its official reveal later this week. It appears it is a huge departure from the first game.
The reason the trailer was leaked early is because it was featured as an advertisement on Twitch. A user took the time to upload the trailer onto YouTube and it gives you an idea on the atmosphere of Watch Dogs 2.
Yesterday’s leak is real as the game will be out on November 15th, 2016. The new main character has also been confirmed, although we still don’t know his name yet. You can see him running around in San Francisco.
It looks like this game concentrates on parkour/free running as well as graffiti artwork. Don’t worry though, there will still be lots of gangs and hacking that has to be done. Hopefully Ubisoft shares more actual gameplay footage very soon.
Ubisoft purposefully made huge changes to the franchise as the first game wasn’t universally liked. Many people thought Aiden Pearce was boring as the main character and the gameplay got repetitive quickly. It will be interesting to see if the new character is more charismatic.
