Linda’s Fudge Cake at The Cheesecake Factory has gone viral, but one food reviewer’s attempt to try it took an unpleasant turn. TikTok food reviewer Adrianna filmed what appears to be a worm falling off her slice, as reported by Brobible. The video starts with Adrianna sitting in her car, presenting the large slice of Linda’s Fudge Cake she just picked up.
She seems excited to dig in at first and starts by taking two large bites of the dessert. However, the mood shifts quickly once she decides to take a closer look at the remaining portion. She inspects the cake more closely and zooms in with her camera so viewers can see what she found. As she examines the slice, a small, thin object that looks like a worm falls off the cake.
She notices it immediately, saying, “Y’all there’s something in my cake,” followed by, “Oh my gosh.” After the initial discovery, Adrianna holds the tiny, noodle-like object up to the camera lens to give her audience a clear view. She repeats, “Oh my gosh,” and quips, “Well, that’s the end of this video.” The footage then transitions to a closer shot of the object from the cake, where it resembles a small, thin worm.
She had already eaten part of the slice before she saw it
Adrianna expresses her frustration, noting, “The one time I wanna try something, there’s a worm in my cake.” As she pans the camera over the rest of the slice, she complains, “I really ate some of this.” She wrote in the caption that she decided to get Linda’s Fudge Cake as it had gone viral. Commenters disputed what the object was, with several arguing it was a maggot, not a worm.
Others posted screenshots from the video that they claimed showed more of them in the Linda’s Fudge Cake slice. However, no one has independently identified the object, and Adrianna calls it a worm throughout the video. It’s unclear which location the slice came from, and The Cheesecake Factory’s side of the story could not be independently verified. Many viewers urged Adrianna to take the matter further. One commenter said, “Please contact them.”
Another commenter told her to call the company’s corporate office as the video gives her proof, and another wrote, “You too calm sis. I’d be throwing up smh.” A third said, “Omg! It’s maggots and I know it’ll be hard for you to eat anything else.”
